The city of Bath is in Somerset in the south west of England. Surrounded by protective mountains and stunning countryside it is one of England’s most beautiful places to visit. It was originally a Roman city where its hot springs were used as Roman Baths. The city is famous for these springs and they are the only hot springs in the UK. The city was named a World Heritage Site in 1987 with sites such as the Bath Abbey, the Royal Crescent and the Pulteney Bridge to visit. You could also enjoy an evening in one of the city’s six theatres.
