Aviation authorities have designed new measures to minimise the disruption caused by volcanic ash; however, should there be further disruption The Travel Department Ash Cloud Guarantee means you can book your  holiday with confidence.

For customers who have not yet travelled, if your flight is affected The Travel Department will:

     1. Notify you by text message if your flight is affected;
     2. Give you the option to travel on the next available flight;
     3. Give you the option to avail of a refund.

If customers are delayed abroad, The Travel Department will:

     1. Keep you up-to-date by text message, phone and via our local guide;
     2. Rebook customers on the next available flight;
     3. Arrange accommodation abroad if required.
