County Donegal’s Malin Head is the most northerly point in Ireland and the county’s landscape is the most rugged and mountainous in Ulster. The indented coastline forms many natural loughs, terrifying cliffs, beautiful bays and sandy beaches. Donegal has a distinctive music tradition with bands like Clannad coming from the region. One of the county treasures is Glenveagh National Park where you will find Glenveagh Castle, Lough Veagh and a multitude of exotic and delicate plants. Letterkenny is the largest town in Donegal.
